Introduction Born in Varese, northern Italy, Edoardo Costa is a multilingual Italian actor, entrepreneur and philanthropist who rose to fame as a model in the 1990s. A staple in the modeling industry, Costa worked for some of the biggest agencies in the world, landing covers, editorials, catalogs, and TV commercials worldwide. He was the face of some of the biggest names in fashion, including Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani, Versace, and Christian Dior, among others. In movies, Costa is best known for his role as the terrorist Emerson, in the fourth installment of the “Die Hard” series, “Live Free or Die Hard.” He also starred in other movies such as “Down The Shore” and the award-winning drama “Black Tulip.” Going beyond acting and modeling, Costa has used his celebrity status to support philanthropic endeavors in Afghanistan, Brazil, and Africa. Costa currently maintains residence in Los Angeles and New York City and he continues to pursue his career as an international actor.
