| Introduction | Hello there and welcome to my blog. My name is Andre and I am here to show you the ways in which I have learnt to self-reflect and better my life. I know it may be hard to comprehend, but you have just made a friend. Through my poetry and art, I will try to help you see the importance of self-love, self-reflection, motivation, positivity and perseverance. When reading my poetry, try to find yourself within it if you can. I truly believe that you will be able to relate to some of it. The reason I am sharing my poetry with you is because poetry has helped me in life. Like everyone, I have had some experiences that I am not too fond of. One thing I have learnt from all my experiences is that self-reflection is vital to self-improvement. Drawing and learning about art is my passion. As most artists will say, art is a way of expressing yourself through images. It is a way of telling a story. Both poetry and art, I believe, have one thing in common. They will each be perceived in a unique way by different readers/viewers. Whether you end up loving or hating my work, I just want you to know that everything I do on this blog is from the heart. |
