| Introduction | Hello, Everyone! As of April 2007 I am a Graduate with my Bachelors in Interior Design! As a designer it is my responsibility to create design solutions that are safe, functional, attractive and meet the needs of the people using the space. The trend toward eclecticism, also called "casual contemporary" in designer lingo is the design element I like to follow. This allows layering of styles which creates a one of a kind, personal space. Simplistically, that means combining old with new, classic with contemporary, quiet with loud. The trick is not to create a space that is mismatched. Do this by choosing an element such as color or shape that can be repeated to unify the pieces and help them blend together.
