Introduction	I'm a freelance opera singer and husband of another freelance opera singer, Lucy Schaufer, and a member, when at home, of a group of friends who drink coffee together every day. Eight years ago my daughter christened us The Saddos (to be accurate she described us as "a bunch of saddos") and the name has stuck. We're still not sure how to spell saddos. Perhaps it needs an e in there.
