| Introduction | Originally this blog was about our life in "cancer world". We felt far too young to be facing the fears that cancer brought to our little family, but such is this beast: indiscriminate. Sadly, my husband lost his battle with cancer, leaving us far too soon. My 3 sons and I work to cope through shock, loss, and grief and hopefully one day emerg from "grief world" stronger and better as human beings. So through my blog, I am looking to appreciate the positive changes and new perspectives it brings with it. Some days it's easy to see, other days can be very difficult. Some days it presents with humour, other days with a sobering chill, since Sean's passing a silver lining seems horrible and hurtful to even think of. However, in trying to be proactive through healing it appears I must keep an eye out for positive effects on our lives - I just can no longer call them silver linings. Love you and Miss you. XOX |
