Introduction Type A individuals often feel a sense of urgency (there is never enough time!) and the need to plan and multi-task. I am a career-oriented woman who did not have the word "relax" in her vocabulary before I became a Mom. I still don't have it in my vocabulary! As a very new Mom (baby girl was born June 30, 2010), I am on maternity leave and find myself struggling to get used to my unpredictable daily schedule and hours of sitting on the couch. This Mom stuff is proving to be a challenge for which not even I could find a way to plan. However, it is absolutely the best thing that has ever happened to me and I know it is going to bring about the best in me. I would love to share my trials and tribulations with you, as I continue to try and move at an 80 mile an hour pace, hoping you can relate...or that I at least give you a good chuckle :)
Interests Music, yoga (crank up the heat, baby!), watching anything to do with housewives (guilty pleasure) and baby shows (can't get enough...I love watching the C-section ones, as that is what I had), hanging with friends and family and our many family dogs, reading (has to be the right time for me to really enjoy it), and enjoying a nice glass of wine with my hubby at the end of a long day.
Favorite Movies Batman saga (Christian Bale, while angry, is my movie star boyfriend), A League of Their Own, Juno, Garden State, Breakfast Club, anything with Tom Cruise (can we talk about Top Gun, ladies?), Old School, Wedding Crashers
Favorite Music Ohhh boy...let's just name a few...Andrew Bird, anything 90's alternative, but only the music from the 90's (Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, STP), indie favs like Bloc Party, newcomers Metric, Imogen Heap and some good old school rap lords like Jay-Z and Notorious BIG (I can't stand current rap songs...and my husband loves them...eeeckkk :)
