| Introduction | A blog about my work and life as an artisan woodworker in rural PEI, Can. I spend my days in my studio carving folk art, turning beautiful wood and for 'distraction' making bench made furniture. I believe beauty and function should be present in our everyday things. My 2 Labrador Retriever cohorts who love to play, help keep my work whimsical but real. Advice from my cats ... well, that just keeps me humble. |
| Interests | I share a small acreage with my husband, 2 Labradors, 3 British Shorthair cats and 3 mogie rescues. I love to garden, renovate our old farmhouse, hike with the dogs, roam the beaches and observe the shorebirds and on long winter evenings I can be found hooking rugs, reading or playing interactive cat games with both dogs and cats. |
