Introduction	Born and raised in the south, but living in the Pacific Northwest now, I spend my days in the relative "mundane" of every day mom life. Being a homeschooling mom of 6 kids is hardly mundane though. We stay busy keeping up with school, activities, chores, friends, church, and life in general. I find my much-needed escapes through reading, exercise, playing music, and writing. Cooking used to be in there, but now the kids are always involved and it's not so much an escape as another learning opportunity for them and a teaching opportunity for me. We all have fun learning, working, and playing together, and we especially love it when Dad comes home from work to join us. Life is hard, but good.

Favorite movies	musicals, rom-com, nature documentaries, spy & mystery
Favorite music	A little bit of everything except country.
Favorite books	fantasy, jane austen and the like, mystery, young adult fiction, literature
