| Introduction | One Shining Moment Child Care Center is owned and operated by Jayne Ogundehinde. Jayne has over 20 years of experience in the child care and education profession. One Shining Moment Child Care Center believes in the uniqueness and potential of each child and will make each moment of the child's daycare experience "shine" with new found wonders and experiences. One Shining Moment Child Care Center is located in the beautiful Queens Park neighbourhood of New Westminster. We are licensed as a multi-age child care facility serving children between the ages of 2 and 12, as well as their families. We are proud to offer excellence in child care, in part by following the basic principles of the Reggio Emilia approach to child care which originated in Northern Italy. We are committed to guiding children in a respectful manner whilst encouraging children to become independent in their thoughts and actions. We have recently expanded our center to include an Out of School Care component that was named the "Big Kids Club" by the children. |
| Interests | We love to play and learn. We love discovering new things and taking adventures. We love each other and our teachers and we are always kind and respectful. |
| Favorite music | We like to dance to ABBA and other fun songs. We like Raffi and Disney songs but we really love to sing songs with our friends at circle and at all other times of the day. |
| Favorite books | We like books about animals and children. We like books with repetition and funny sounds. We also really like felt board stories too. |
