Introduction I am a professional costume technician, most recently employed in the costume shop at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater (1998 - 2020.) I have experience as a Draper, First Hand, Stitcher, and Tailor. I have also done work for Writers' Theatre, The Guthrie Theater, The Goodman Theatre, Northlight Theatre, Drury Lane Theatre, Skylight Music Theatre, The Milwaukee Ballet, American Players Theatre, Optimist Theatre, Virginia Opera, and Renaissance Entertainment Productions - Bristol Renaissance Faire. From August 2013 to September 2014 the Milwaukee Repertory Theater Costume Shop collaborated with the Jewish Museum Milwaukee on the creation of their fall 2014 exhibit about Hedwig Strnad, Stitching History from the Holocaust; I was the Milwaukee Rep Costume Shop project manager and also worked as a draper, first hand, stitcher, and tailor on this project. Historical fashion and clothing are two of my passions. I am a collector of vintage clothing and accessories, antique and vintage books, manuals, and ephemera relating to the needle crafts, tailoring, sewing, and fashion. I am also involved in living history and am a member of WW2 USO Preservation Association, www.ww2uso.org
