| Introduction | I'm a mom, wife, sister, daughter, friend, teacher, wannabe crafter, lover of bacon... and I have Type 2 Diabetes. I learned to swim when I was 40 years old! I have a great life that is as busy and exciting as any other rollercoaster! I try to "delight in the little things." When I was diagnosed just before my 40th birthday with Diabetes, I thought my hobby of cooking would have to fall by the wayside. I was wrong! I'm impressed by people who can make fantastic shadow puppets. My best pose would probably be a bunny. Just the head. But I can make the nose wiggle. Are you impressed yet?
