| Introduction | At my core I am a deeply spiritual person. I meditate every day and look at this world as an opportunity to put that love that we are into action. I am also a very creative person. I have worked as a singer and actress, and have written a lot of poetry. I practice and share a process of accessing that highest level of creativity we each have -- what I call Your Authentic Voice. I enjoy a mix of experiences from going to Rock Springs for the cowboy food and a piece of pie, to fine dining. I am self-employed. I realized long ago I love the freedom of being able to set my own agenda and priorities. That obviously also means I am able to deal with a lot of uncertainty and risk. I have a beautiful son that I spend a lot of time with. He's 22 and at college. I love animals and nature. I like to watch TV -- certain shows crack me up. What else? I am open to what's next and how I can continue to share the love within me. I'm listening! |
| Interests | Nature and hiking, movies, books and experiences in new thought and metaphysical spirituality, travel, time with friends and family, new culinary experiences. |
| Favorite movies | Gladiator, Forrest Gump, The Hunt for Red October, Braveheart. I recently watched the Great Debaters, and it was amazing. There are too many to count. I like movies that have wonderful writing, powerful acting and a good story, whether they are dramas or comedies, or something in between. A lot of times I'll watch a movie based on the actors in it, because I know it will be good. Just saw Ironman and really enjoyed that. |
| Favorite music | I don't have a favorite, but find I enjoy love the music of Josh Grobin, and Celine Dion, mostly because of their beautiful voices, and will also stop to listen to Andrea Bocelli. I like acoustic instrumental music -- guitar and piano -- that is soothing and connects me to my inner peace, and also like Latin rhythms that get your blood going! |
| Favorite books | Eckhart Tolle's A New Earth, Don Miguel Ruiz's Mastery of Love, Annie LaMott's Bird by Bird, and many by Deepok Chopra. I enjoy a lot of fiction as well, but no author in particular stands out. |
