| Introduction | I care for my husband who has had ms for 30 years but the last 10 years he's been getting worse, with the last couple being really stressful. The hot summers have a substantial draining effect on him and we eventually were forced to move into a bungalow in March 2006. This has made quite a difference to gom's mobilty, some good and some bad. He's had to become more dependant on his wheelchair, but this has paid of in other ways in that he no longer gets so tired during the day and we now have a garden that we have been able to sit and take in the lovely weather. We've had a lot of work to do to the bungalow but it will be worth it when it's all finished. Some of the work may have to wait for a bit but we're getting as much as we can done before Christmas 2006. |
