| Introduction | This is the story of me finally trying to get serious about my allotment. It's going to consist of a blend of several factors. I'm going to try and keep the self-criticism down to about 30%, hopefully no more than 20% blaming other things (weather, pests, soil quality, and the slugs .... THE SLUGS!!!) That leaves 10% for pretentious photos and folksy pseudo-philosophical twaddle, and I'm aiming for 40% charting my progress! I figure keeping track is going to motivate me, and being honest about how rubbish I am might help others feel better. Feel free to leave encouragement, criticism, abuse etc. And advice - I need advice! |
