| Introduction | It was talk about retirement that started this whole thing. Another five or six years seemed too long to wait, so we put an escape plan into action. A four-month road trip in Mexico seemed like a good idea. We think that somewhere between the Pacific surf, the colonial silver mining towns, the museums in Mexico City and the ruins in Palenque lie the answers to some bigger questions. |
