| Introduction | I am a single mother of two grown children, both who are currently serving this great country of ours in different aspects. My son is currently stationed in Afghanistan. My daughter is married to a soldier who will be deploying next month to Iraq. She and her husband have two children, (my adorable grandbabies!!) ages 2 and 4, and reside in Baumholder, Germany. Ten years ago, I realized, although I had children, it was high-time I lived my life for myself. My kids have been my rock. They accepted me for "coming out of the closet" and life moved on. My children were active in their schools, community functions such as boy scouts and little league, and eventually high-school athletics. I think alot of gay parents create issues for their children by pulling them back so as not to draw attention to their own lifestye. This is definitely not the way to handle the situation. I love my kids and my family for allowing me to simply be "me" and accept my soul-mate, Chrissy, into our little "family world." I cannot imagine life any differently now. |
| Interests | Art, music, antiques, auctions and writing. I organize, write, edit, and publish a 15-18 page free monthly newsletter for the nursing home I work for. My residents love to read and especially love the jokes included monthly. Several residents and volunteers search for information they would like to include in the newsletter each month and love to see their names published as the "contributor." |

| Favorite Books | Who has time to read? I mean, I do read the paper, online postings and news, and of course...the graffiti on bathroom walls. |
