| Introduction | I have been blessed to be creative my whole life. I taught myself how to sew at a young age, which then led to a career as a fabric buyer and quilt shop owner. After years of teaching quilt making, I decided to search out a new creative direction. My mid-life crisis brought me to art school - an unfulfilled destiny. I now enjoy collage and mixed media, as well as working with altered books and three dimensional pieces and teach paper arts and creativity classes. I still enjoy working with textiles and fibers and envision bringing the fabrics and papers together in my art work. I am happily married to a wonderfully supportive husband, Dennis, who always has given me time and space to fulfill my constant need to create. I am the lucky mother of two of the best sons anyone could want. They are my greatest joy. I also share my life with three loving cats and a very cuddly dog who all make us laugh everyday. |
