| Introduction | I was rumouredly born in 1962, somewhere south of the Equator. For many years a raggle-taggle Forces brat, oh, I settled down when I got married in 1982. After gaining qualifications in such useful subjects as 'The Arthurian legend in its social context','Fourteenth century passion plays' and Early English, I worked at a number of highly-skilled jobs - waitress, furniture mover, accounts clerk, children's librarian, freelance writer, kept woman. Currently expatriate to the UK, where I live with my husband, one child (the other having escaped to Australia) and a part-time pet, I live in the vain hope that I have woken up in the wrong body, and I am really Elle McPherson |
