| Introduction | I am a freelance fashion designer and knitting instructor. I have been knitting and sewing since I was three, and my love of design turned in to my career. I trained in NYC at the Fashion Institute of Technology where I was valedictorian. I have been designing childrenswear and mens swimwear professionally for the last 12 years. There is a good chance if you have a child or a man that you may own my designs. I am the mom of 3 amazing and beautiful little kids. I’m taking a break from working full time to enjoy them while they are young. In my spare time (who has spare time with 3 kids?) I design, knit, and sell handbags, make sweaters for my kids, and blankies for the baby boom that seems to be happening with all of my favorite women. I’m a serial knitter, and tend to have many projects going at once. If I dream about an idea, I have to pick up some yarn and needles to begin the minute I wake up, even though I may have 5 other projects in work. |
