| Introduction | Who is this dollface anyway? I’m a curator of carefully culled scraps of old paper, scavenged bits here and there, stowed away for safe keeping until the perfect project comes along. I love melding handmade traditional collage with digital elements to create something fresh and new. I'm really excited about my vintage paper series, a collection of collages featuring experimental printing on a variety of delicate and crumbly substrates. Dollfacedesign is simply a manifestation of my magpie sensibility, an extension of things I love, hoarding all things old and oxidized, discarded and forgotten. A little bit of sparkle and a little bit of grunge, a vintage aesthetic with a modern twist, that’s dollfacedesign. ♥layla♥ |

why paper of course! tiny scraps of vintage papers will be papier mached together to form a bust in my liking, all to commemorate the fact that i finally stopped being a wuss and started my own blog!
