| Introduction | Karen Dunning has loved music all her life. Coming from a musical family, her earliest memories are of singing and listening on her father's lap. She earned an undergraduate degree in music history and theory and then a Masters Degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Colorado. After many performing experiences, she came back to Colorado and established a music studio teaching voice and piano. She loves watching children and adults learn to express themselves through music. After teaching music for more than twenty years, Miss Karen knows that music is a beautiful and fun way to teach life skills like listening, literacy, self control, and self expression. Kindermusik is a wonderful way for her to share the joy of learning through music and directed play. She is excited to present helpful information and opportunities to bond between children and their caregivers and between caregivers while enjoying this joyous romp through this great curriculum. |
