Introduction	I believe creativity often comes from chaos and out of the creativity comes structure; studying different ideas from many different people: authors, theologians, philosophers, and students!! ESPECIALLY students; I am a retired teacher, writer, artist, crafter, mother, wife, friend, reader, event-planner, pet lover, Parrothead . . . you get the picture.

Favorite movies	"Lincoln," "Tombstone," "Steel Magnolias," "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, "Gladiator," "Braveheart," "Seabiscuit," "Sweet Home Alabama," more I can't even remember.
Favorite music	Jimmy Buffett; the new sound of country music; Alison Krauss, Toby Keith, Alan Jackson, Josh Turner, Brad Paisley; Celtic/New Age music: Celtic Woman, Celtic Thunder; Acoustic Guitar; Classical: Bach, Baroque; soft rock, OLD rock; musicals like LES MIS., WICKED, PHANTOM . . .
Favorite books	I Am One of You Forever, Fred Chappell; East of Eden, John Steinbeck; Saints by the River, and most any other book by Ron Rash; ANY book by Rick Bragg, especially Southern Journey; On Writing, Stephen King; Absalam, Absalom, William Faulkner; too many favorite authors to list!

You've written a hit musical! How will you avoid having fame go to your head?

Not a problem. All I'd have to do is remember that I've got to change my cat's litter box. Famous or not, she's my cat and I won't ask anyone to do it for me.
