Introduction	After having had an encounter with the risen Lord on the road to Emmaus, the two travelers asked each other, "Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?" (Luke 24:32). It is a similarly glorious burning in the heart that has provided the inspiration for each one of the devotionals posted here.
