Introduction Ben is the current National Coordinator for Maa Civil Society Forum in Kenya which is a human rights organization seeking redress for historical injustices on land meted on the Maasai by the British and post colonial governments. A trained teacher and a long serving development practitioner having worked for World Vision and Christian Children Fund for 18 Years. He has represented the Maa nation in three sessions in the United Nations Permanent forum for Indigenous Issues and was elected co-chair of the Global Caucus for the 2009 session Ben studied Theology and Development in Leeds University through Oxford Center for Mission Studies. Has authored several papers on development and civic rights for marginalized communities in East Africa. Ben’s passion is to advocate for a just and equitable society that appreciates diversity in God’s creation and that all have equal opportunities to enjoy the fruits of creation.
