Introduction	I am 22 years old and work as a sports writer for the Hopewell News Patriot in Hopewell, Va. I primarily cover high school sports from around the Central District and other sporting events around Central Virginia. I am from Chester, Va and graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in December of 2010 with a degree in Religious Studies and Journalism. I have also done work with radio stations WHAP 1340, ESPN 950 as well as various blogs and print publications. I created this blog to take my coverage beyond our sports page and also give myself a chance to editorialize on national sports topics.
