| Introduction | Last year, I lived here in Kaohsiung as a Fulbright Taiwan ETA (English Teaching Assistant). After loving the experience, I applied for an MOE (Ministry of Education) scholarship to return for another six months. In other words, the Taiwanese government supports me while I attempt to further my Chinese fluency by taking classes five days a week at the National Sun Yat-sen University. |
