You can try to avoid it. You can adopt the 'brace position'. If you're lucky, like me, people around you will jump in front of you. You can put your faith in experts to deal with the imminent danger. At some stage there will be a 'close your eyes' moment. The diagnosis of a brain tumour has been the ultimate curveball for me. But it is showing me that a preparation to fight, combined with a 'Support Team' of the most epic proportions, is a match for any curveball. |
