Introduction	I have been married to a wonderful man for just a smidge over twenty years and I adore him. We have no children, so it has made the choice of going back to school a little easier. I'm getting a degree in Romani Studies to better understand my rich yet hidden heritage. I'm only part Romani, but I embrace that part of my life. I'm older than most of my classmates, old enough to be their mother. I'm even older than some of my teachers. Privately, I have been studying the Romani Holocaust for the past 13 years and have been a guest lecturer at middle and high schools in Iowa as well as at U of I and UNC-Charlotte. I am also a writer and am currently juggling four books on my overworked laptop. My first book is almost complete and I will be looking for an agent in the next few months.
Interests	history, old films, drawing, Django's music, The Kolpakov Trio's music, music by Dr. Oleg Timofeyev, reading Gregory, Alexander, Tolkien, and Hancock, cooking, and teaching.
Favorite movies	LotR, TT, RotK, PotC, Everything is Illuminated, Miracle on 34th Street (older version), Cinderella, HoND, and The Storyteller
Favorite music	Jazz, 7-string, some classical, old time rock, some pop, all Christmas music
Favorite books	Anything by Tolkien, Dr. Hancock, Gregory, Alexander, as well as the Myth Series and most books on Roma history.
