| Introduction | I'm an American ex-pat living in the UK. I moved here just about 5 years ago to be with my husband, Tony. We've got a collection of his, mine and our children which you'll get to read all about in this blog. I'm a pre-school manager and a childminder and am pursuing a BA in Early Years. I have many interests though I don't seem to have time for any of them lately. At the moment, the ones I remain passionately dedicated to are yoga, gardening and my lifeline, reading. Ocassionally I like to toss out there that I enjoy writing but the pages of dusty, forgotten, half-finished manuscripts are a constant embarrassment to me. Okay, who am I kidding - half-finished?! Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?
No, I believe that somewhere down the evolutionary pathway, spoons evolved along a divergent pathway. Spoons and forks are not of the same species, think canine and feline. Although, eerily enough, they can reproduce and their offspring is known as the spork. Sporks are sterile, though and cannot produce offspring of their own.
