| Introduction | I live a very busy life. My three daughters consume some of my leisure time. I sold my company and retired at the end of 2019, at the age of 57. Despite being retired my days are just as busy as when I was working. I am passionate about Photography and spend much of my spare time photographing the world around me. I prefer film based cameras and shoot many formats up to 8" x 10". All work is processed and printed in my own darkroom. To that end I founded the Monochrome Guild, a local group of fine art photographers. In recent years I have been involved in a long term documentary project about small town hotel taverns. The Beer Parlour Project plans to visit 100 locations over the next several years. I am also passionate about hockey and manage The Renegades, a beer league hockey team that plays from September to July every year. I became involved in Dinosaur Valley Studios, a company that is involved in fossil and skeletal collection, preparation and display. We bought a property in the front ranges of the Rocky Mountains in Nordegg and I built a small vacation home there. I split my time between Edmonton and the mountains. The rest of my time I just waste sleeping. |
