About me

Industry Architecture
Occupation Historic Preservation
Location Silverthorne, CO, United States
Introduction It is my belief that thoughtful stewardship of our cultural heritage is an important part of creating a sustainable society. It is not a good solution if the historic resource performs better but loses its heritage value in the process. When approaching projects (via the planning and development of the Scope of Work / Construction Doc's / Technical Specs / Budget / Contracts / Project Team / Delivery Methods), I believe that bridging the past with the future we must routinely balance technical details against heritage. These experiences and philosophies have expanded my skills, have kept me in the forefront of the green/sustainable/conservation building movement, and allowed me to remain as a leading voice for the integration of historic preservation and today’s building practices.
Interests The desire to develop and become better. A systematic approach in what I do, Grow my KSA's – by crawling/walking/then running, Receive feedback positively. Give well thought out feedback. Believe that people who work hard together should also have fun together. Primed to roll up my sleeves – I don't believe in workplace status or "it's-not-my-job". Offer and be part of finding solutions to issues, Take pleasure in giving clients the best experience I can. Help the team to give something back to the organization and the community. Prepared to work closely with other partners that will assist in delivering excellent projects. Strive for sustainability and enhance the mission/focus/values within the EIEIO Plan.
