Introduction In 1969 Hal became the supervisor of the U.S. Army Color Photographic Lab in Fort Myer, VA. Assignments included functions at the White House. In 1972 he became manager of Oklahoma's oldest and largest commercial studio, directing commercial photography for major corporations including Pepsi Cola, Holiday Inn, and Fram Filters. He has exhibited in numerous museums, including the Gilcrease Institute of American History and Art in Tulsa, OK, the International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum in Oklahoma City, the North Carolina Maritime Museum in Beaufort, the Maude Kerns Art Center in Eugene, OR, and the Roanoke Fine Arts Center in Roanoke, VA. Magazines publishing his art include Kodak's "Photo Decor", "The Virginian", "Prerogative", "Virginia Wildlife", and "Darkroom Magazine". In 1993 Hal was recognized by the First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, as one of our nations outstanding artists.
