About me

Introduction	First and foremost .... I love teaching! I have been teaching for l5 years and have spent most of them in first grade. I decided to challenge myself the past few years by teaching sixth grade. I learned a lot about myself as a teacher, but most importantly I learned that I am meant to teach the primary grades. I have my Master's degree in Teaching and Learning. I do have to admit though that most of what I learn comes from the boys and girls that I get to spend my day with. I am happily married to my husband Tom. Together we have 2 beautiful daughters ... Madelyn (6) and Macy (4). We also have a furry baby named Wrigley. We are avid Cubs fans and are hoping to someday see them with the World Series! When I am not spending time with my family or working on school projects, I enjoy reading, scrapbooking, and watching reality tv.
