| Introduction | I’ve always loved whimsical old things – old houses, old clothes, old furniture and old people! As a little girl I drew some of my first pictures of the “white hairs” in our church choir, made my own books out of old wallpaper and dressed up in my grandmother’s silver lamé garb from the 60’s. I developed a flair for mixing old and new, art and kitsch, antiques and modern décor. Nowadays, I’m a freelance writer, amateur decorator, artist and painter of Whimsical Walls. I paint murals, silhouettes, patterns and contemporary images on walls. When it comes to artwork, I do everything from traditional painting to printmaking to collage. I love decorating children's rooms with themed canvases, monograms and favorite characters. When I’m not creating or decorating, I’m browsing thrift shops, finding cool vintage accessories and having fun with antiques. Anything with a touch of whimsy! |

Why does the taste of pennies remind you of losing a tooth?
Um, I think this raises a more important question. Who are these crazy people putting pennies in their mouths?
