Introduction	I was raised on the Bible, the Lord of the Rings, the Chronicles of Narnia, and good old-fashioned fairy-tales. I was home-schooled and did not live in the U.S. for most of my childhood. Most of my life has consisted of a passion for literature, music, and God. I love a good story anywhere I can find it, whether in ancient texts or the newest role-playing computer game. While all these parts of my past and present combine to make me a fairly odd person (see also "nerd" or "geek"), I also love participating in normal social activities and living a charmingly domestic life with my husband and kids. Still, there are times when a little part of me feels like a young visitor from another world, looking on this one in innocent wonder: the FaerieChylde.
Interests	Music, movies, literature (especially fantasy written for children/young adults), historical and cultural studies.
Favorite movies	Pride and Prejudice (BBC TV version), The Chronicles of Narnia films, The Lord of the Rings films, Animated Disney films, Pixar films, The Princess Bride, the Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Wars, Stardust.
Favorite music	Loreena McKennitt, Jars Of Clay, Soundtracks, Enya, Lunasa, Coldplay.
Favorite books	The Bible, The Lord of the Rings, Mere Christianity, (anything by C.S. Lewis, actually), Harry Potter.
