|Occupation||writer, editor, student|
|Location||Pennsylvania, United States|
|Introduction||Early 40's, but gaining on the mid-40's fast. Actively Married. Socially progressive. Mormon Democrat who would reelect Obama in a heartbeat. Is a fan of people supporting themselves, but not of the incessant cuts to child welfare and education programs. Occasionally joyous and grateful. Occasionally crabby and stingy. Always opinionated, but totally open to hearing your thoughts on the matter.|
|Interests||Parenting, knitting, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Higher Ed, Elementary Ed, Middle-School students, English-Language Learners, concept-based pedagogy, and teacher education.|
|Favorite Music||Billy Joel, Handel's Messiah: A Soulful Celebration, some country, a lot of gospel, anything that lifts me up when I'm feeling down|
|Favorite Books||Calvin and Hobbes, Jude the Obscure, Twilight Series, Great Expectations, anything by Rita Mae Brown, silly little knitting mysteries I could probably have written myself.|
Which is more important to you and why: flexibility or expandability?
In what? I prefer my bread dough be both expansive and flexible, but not my wedding vows. I like a flexible and expansive president, but prefer our war policy be more flexible and less freakin' expansive.
