| Introduction | Diana Converse is the Family Life Educator for the University of Florida Extension Service in Hillsborough County, (Tampa) Florida. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Bowling Green State University and her Master’s Degree from the College of Human Sciences at Florida State University. Since 1982, Diana has been responsible for the Family Development Programs in Hillsborough County, including curriculum development and teaching in the areas of Parenting, Child Growth and Development, Balancing Work and Family, and improving Human Capital at the worksite. Diana has raised three wonderful and successful daughters. Classes for parents, grandparents, teachers and child care professionals are available. In September, 2012, Diana became a grandmother!
