Introduction I am a homeschooling, Christian mother of 4, wife to My Loving Man for 16 years and 6 days (now in Heaven) and caretaker of my elderly mom. I love my Lord, my husband, my children, my dogs and my life, even though I am going through a huge adjustment right now. I have the best neighbors in the world and don't ever want to move from here (as long as they are beside me!). I also have a wonderful family and friends who have stayed with me through thick and thin.
Interests Cooking, reading, sewing, crocheting, decorating my home, cross-stitching, gardening, talking to my friends, spending time with my family, Food Network, HGTV, the occasional television drama. I also love taking pictures and putting those pictures all over my home.
Favorite Movies Gone With the Wind, Mary Poppins, Little Women, Pretty Woman, Tombstone, 13 Going on 30, Beauty and the Beast, Liar Liar, Shallow Hal, Christmas with the Kranks, The Big Chill, Out of Africa, Ragtime, Unfaithful, Ghost, The Big Chill, Hope Floats, Mystic Pizza, Nights in Rodanthe, Sense and Sensibility, Julie & Julia and Polar Express.
Favorite Music The Beatles, James Taylor, Dan Fogleberg, Barry White, John Denver, Jackson Browne, Jon Bon Jovi, Sandi Patty, Twyla Paris, Steve Camp, Mona Brewer, Beyonce, Dream Theater, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Josh Grobin, Willie Nelson, Jimmy Buffett, Jack Johnson, Corinne Bailey Rae, Chris Daughtrey, Amos Lee, Rosie Thomas, Madonna, Muse, Ratatat, Flogging Molly and more. I love music and I have older children that introduce me to new music all of the time.
Favorite Books To Kill A Mockingbird, The Time Travelers Wife, Gone With the Wind, The Secret Life of Bees, The Mermaid Chair, all of the Sweet Potato Queens books, all of the Tightwad Gazette books, Gooseberry Patch cookbooks. I love classics, Christian fiction, cookbooks, and Southern writers. I LOVE TO READ. Anything by Dorothea Benton Franks, Pat Conroy or Anne Rivers Siddon. I also love Debbie Macomber. My newest favorites are twilight, new moon, eclipse and breaking dawn by Stephenie Meyer.
