| Introduction | I am a born-and-trained naturalist. For the love of forests and mountains, I became a forester, and did it well for two and a half decades. You'll often find me wherever wild animals are found — our addresses tend to coincide. While managing forests, I noticed almost no one was attending to the needs of herpetofauna, so I picked up that gap myself. I call myself a "Herpetographer" rather than a herpetologist, since I lack the facilities for formal research — but I'm deeply engaged in herping. If you'd like to learn about reptiles and amphibians, including their biodiversity, climate connections, and the social science around them, feel free to reach out anytime. For everything else, I live by Allan Rufus's words: "Life is like a sandwich — birth is one slice, death the other. The choices we make in between determine whether our sandwich is enjoyable or unsavoury." I hold a PhD, MSc, PG Diploma, PG Certificate, BSc, and a High Standard Professional Certificate — all in Nature Conservation and related Ecological and Environmental Sciences. If you need my services, hire me. I'm the real deal — no joking. Love! |
