Introduction I am a born-and-trained naturalist. For the love of forests and mountains, I chose to be a forester, which I did very well for two and half decades. You can catch me in places where wild animals are found because our addresses are somehow same. While managing forest I found no people attending to the needs of herpetofauna, an area I picked up. So, I call myself Herpetographer since I have no facilities to conduct research like real herpetologists. I engage in herping and if anyone seeks knowledge on this particular group of animals, including aspects of biodiversity, climate, and social science, they can reach out to me at any time. Rest, I follow Allan Rufus’ dictum “Life is like a sandwich, birth as one slice and death as the other. The choices we make in between determine whether our sandwich is enjoyable or unsavoury". I have MSc, PG Diploma, PG Certificate, BSc, and a High Standard Professional Certificate, all focused on Nature Conservation and related Ecological and Environmental Sciences. If you like me, let me know.
Interests Field Biology (Herpetology, Forest and Wildlife Ecology, Community Forestry, Protected Area Management, Human Geography, Anthropology) and Social Science (People's response to nature conservation, development without compromising nature conservation, etc) and of course anthropology.
Favorite Movies National Geographic movies on species and otherwise movies like Shoot Them Up, Three Idiots, and few others.
Favorite Music Bon Jovi symphony and other musics that make me sleep when I cannot.
Favorite Books Any Herpetological Books, The Deer and Tiger by George Schaller and other books on wildlife conservation.
