| Introduction | I am Laura. For a long time I was Laura Hubbard. My identity was wrapped up in being a Hubbard; whatever that means. Now I am a wife and mother. Although my husband is my best friend and my dream-maker, my identity is really that of a mother. I have never felt as much joy as I do when I am with my kids….although I never thought I would personally touch as much vomit, urine and feces as I have in the last four years!
