Introduction	I recently celebrated 15 years with my husband Travis. We live in the DFW area, more specifically Flower Mound. I'm a stay at home mom to Ashlyn who is 6 and Aidan who is 3. They are high energy, very mischievous, and incredibly time consuming, but I love them with all my heart even when they are trouble-making. Ashlyn was diagnosed with HF Autism, PDD, and speech disorder at the age of 4. She's been in school and receiving therapy there for 2 1/2 years now and has come an amazingly long way. She still has a ways to go, and we have our challenges to be sure. It's hard sometimes, but I have great friends and family who support and encourage us, and also the Greater Lewisville Special Education PTSA, which I am proud to be a part of. I'm learning to live by the words "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain. ~ unknown" because I wouldn't trade this for anything!
