Introduction	• Served as Chief of Staff in the office of the Lt. Governor of Oklahoma as well as Vice-president for Development at two universities. • Hosted a weekly call-in talk show for eight year years on Clear Channel radio. • Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and was named by the U.S. Jaycees as “Outstanding Man of the Year,” and is a published author. • He and his wife Rita were named by Oklahoma Governor Frank Keating to leadership roles in the creation of the Oklahoma Marriage Initiative. • Founder and Chairman of the Board of Tate Publishing which is one of America’s premier publishers and was named Publisher of the Year in 2006. He also owns Tate Music Group which is a very successful music recording label. • An avid runner and competes in over two dozen races each year and has completed nine marathons.
