| Introduction | Thanks for joining in! I'm just a regular kinda guy who just happens to be gay in not an obvious way but more an out loud and proud way. My husband of many years stepped on his rainbow a couple years back and I'm just now feeling a bit lonely for companionship that isn't related by blood. And I ain't one of THOSE kinda guys! I have a deep and completely superficial love of techno/dance/trance music (but am a down low classical lover). I'm of an age where I remember a lot of really weird TV from the 60's, and that's probably given me a head start on my devotion to B-movies, absurd web sites and my offbeat sense of humour. I am an extremely devout non-believing Atheist heretic who respects all other persons creeds and sects, no matter how offensive I may personally find them. I only dislike individual people. That'd be cool with God right? |
| Interests | Politics cuz I love watching reality crime shows and it's way better, Literature because I always wisthedd I culd rite, Technology since it tells is where we were, Dogs well just cuz I love dogs. |
| Favorite movies | Aside from the aforementioned B-Movies, of which of course the titles of which were sometimes completely unrelated to the content of the film, the only recent film I've seen is "Slumdog Millionaire" which I thought awesome (a much over-used adjective I know, but appropriate here). I've been a Danny Boyle fan since Dead Alive and Trainspotting, but this was by far his best work, with stars unknown in the West (to my limited knowledge). I plan on seeing it again, something I almost never do. Says something that. |
| Favorite music | Ahh, hate this one cuz there is so much I like that I can't possibly list them. The Orb, Orbital, Chemical Bros, Verve, Hot Chip, Massive Attack, Dot Allison or any band with her like MA, St Etienne stop me before I accept a Grammy Award! |
| Favorite books | No way will I fall into that. Fave Authors: Hiassen, Vonnegut, Dorsey, Larry Block, Evanovitch, Martha Grimes, Kinky Friedman, Capote, Kerouac, HS Thompson and so on. |
