IntroductionFirst and foremost I, Deborah, am a mother to a beautiful, bright and silly 4 year old boy, Jack, and to a little munchkin of a girl, Elodie. Being a mother has brought more love and laughter into my life than at any other time in my life. My husband, Ty, is my best friend, my joke-ster, my sunshine and the love of my life. I am Ameri-Franco (American and French) and have lived both in the US and in the beautiful country of France. Being bilingual has enriched my life more than I can explain and I can't imagine my life without my French heritage, what a gift! I love France, and everything French, especially the food. I visit my family in France as often as possible and hope to one day have a second home to visit and take the kids. I did my studies in French Literature (BA) and Applied Linguistics-emphasis in French Teaching (MA) and have been teaching French, either through private lessons or at public schools (university level) for eight years now. I am very passionate about teaching, it keeps my blood pumping and keeps me energized. When I am not a mother and wife, I am a teacher, and will always be.
