| Introduction | I am currently a student in the University of Richmond Teacher Licensure Program. I hope to teach social studies to 6th, 7th and 8th graders. I joined the Marine Corps right after high school. I spent four years as a military police officer. It was the best experience of my life. I have been working as a "social worker" at the regional jail in Charlottesville, Virginia since I was honorably discharged from the Marince Corps in 1996. I have an Associates degree is Police Science, an Associates of Science Degree in General Studies, a Bachelor's degree in History from VCU. I met my wife through mutual friends while I was in the military and she was in her fourth year at UVa. She also has a history degree. My son is 3 1/2 and is everything a father could want in a son. Our daughter is do mid-March. This year I ran the Ukrop's 10k for the 6th time and in 52 minutes, the Patrick Henry 1/2 Marathon for the first time and in 2hrs and 4 minutes and the Suntrust Richmond Marathon for the first time and in 3hrs and 54 minutes. I hope to run more marathons this summer when I have more time to train. |
