Introduction	The HERO foundation stands for Helping Everyone Reach Out. We are a not for profit organization formed specifically to assist with the financial burdens placed on families for children under 12 with life threatening diseases in Davis County and surrounding areas. The HERO foundation selects a child to spotlight at a 5K race held for their benefit This represents an important part of the HERO foundations mission as we not only assist in raising money for the family, but also create a community support system for the child and their family.
