| Introduction | I love words! I think I began my love affair with them when I was a spelling queen in my childhood. I love to read them, write them, speak them and hear them. Words are the very essence of how we exchange our ideas and opinions and knowledge and feelings. They are powerful! They can impart wisdom and knowledge, bring life to a weary soul, love to a receptive heart and joy immeasurable. And they can bring pain greater than the most heinous of weapons, too. Once expressed they can never be retrieved. And because of that I say “Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.” Ps. 19:13-14 (KJV) |
