| Introduction | I like poetry and the outdoors. Green spring, fall red and the still blue boom of glaciers. In March 2007, soon after completing my MFA in Writing, I took a brief leave from my techie internet job to travel around South America. Two months whirred by in a blur of color. It seemed I needed more time away, and I ran as far away as possible. To Patagonia, Chile, bottom of the earth. I've been there or elsewhere on the road ever since. |
