| Introduction | I am in what I call the second phase of my adult life. My husband retired from the U.S. Navy in 2006 and since then, we’re trying to figure out how to live like civilians. He still travels extensively for his second career, so I’m not sure that there’s any difference! Anyway, we’ve lived all over the world and our two daughters have attended school in up to four countries and three continents. The travel bug has stayed with us and we all enjoy traveling to new places and re-visiting old favorites. Last May, we went to Hawaii to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We took my in-laws and had a blast with them. I wonder what will be next for us? I love to read and cross-stitch and sometimes it’s hard to decide which to do. So I play computer games instead. What can I say? :-) My intent is to share the things that are important to us with you, including my favorite past-time, counted cross-stitch.
