| Introduction | Dr Andrew Emerson is a nationalist politician, published author, and healthcare professional. He has held several teaching posts, including that of university lecturer. Andrew is a former member of the British National Party, having joined the party in January 2005. Andrew represented the BNP as a candidate for public office in two general elections, on both occasions outpolling a UKIP rival. He was fourth on the BNP's list for the European Parliament elections in the South East, in 2009. Andrew also represented the BNP as a candidate in more than a dozen local authority elections and by-elections to district, city and county councils. He has written more than twenty letters, promoting the BNP and its policies, which have been published in various local newspapers. Two of these letters were awarded the Letter of the Month prize in the party's Identity magazine. Like his parents, Andrew is a former member of the Trafalgar Club. For the last three years Andrew has also published a successful nationalist blog, entitled New Leadership. Andrew is now Treasurer of Patria, the party of nationalist patriots. |
